Re: All About Active Community Leaders

If my area is worker party? How do I be an active community leader ah? GRL is apolitical (supposedly) as it’s managed by People’s Association. Last I check, even the Worker’s Party manage / run ward has community centers, resident network, etc. That said, if you have missed the SHHK membership date...

Re: Travel: Thailand - Bangkok

Thank you @floppy for sharing! No worries. Happy to help (where I can). If you have a large group, or a group with diverse age group (especially if you have older folks, or very young kids), you could consider a group day tour such as this: Ayutthaya Day Tour from Bangkok with Bang Pa-In Summer Pal...

Re: Travel: Thailand - Bangkok

Both are from the same tour agency you have mentioned. Looking at day tour for Ayutthaya as well as Death Railway as wel...

Re: Travel: Thailand - Bangkok

I have always wanted to do a day trip to ayutthaya when I am next in bangkok! n6_4xgeoNy8 Day trip to Ayutthaya is easy. Doesn't require much planning to be honest. I've done it a number of times. There are multiple trains from Bangkok to Ayutthaya every day. You can check the train schedule at the...

Re: Travel: Thailand - Bangkok

Do tourists entering Bangkok need to declare if showing Covid symptoms (running nose/sore throats etc), just like during entering Spore at Changi Airport where one does the declaration online Refer to https://www.tatnews.org/2023/01/thailand-maintains-fully-reopen-entry-rules/ "Proof of vaccination...

Re: Travel: Thailand - Bangkok

If you are looking for a "classic" Bangkok day trip (i.e. not just eat, shop, massage, night market etc), I can highly recommend the Classic Bangkok Full Day Tour by AK Travel . Cost about $54 per pax (excluding the activities in the Elephant Village) which I think is quite reasonable. Itinerary inc...

Ok thank you..

If IB and Poly, which one would you choose?
IMHO doodbug has given the best answer.

There’s really no right / wrong. It depends on the individual and his or her inclination.

Re: Networking Group - JCs General

Floppy, can you also provide some info/insights on Poly edu when you have time. As in if I were to take course A for 3 years and I think that is not what I like, can I apply for a Degree course B thereafter, that is not so related to Course B or I must start fm Diploma level? Anything to take note ...
