Re: Girl, 10, punched and kicked in class

There's always 2 sides to an argument, and what we're reading is only one side of it.

Actually what's the point of the parents meeting up? When one side goes to the extent of making a police report, I don't think it serves any (useful) purpose for any meetup.

Endeavour primary - 277 ( principle's son who is gifted but opt to stay)
Guess he would be located to GEP class in secondary school.
Is there a typo as I don't see Endeavor in the MOE list.

Re: Rulang Primary

Rulang will be even harder to get into now... :nailbite: Think screening for PV will be even more stringent. I used to stay opposite Rulang, and I realized to my dismay that if one has to go for P2C balloting, Rulang has one of the lowest odds nationwide! So now it gets even harder. :faint: Erm, wi...

Re: Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary

Yeah congrats to all who have performed to expectation, and those who exceeded expectation. Just in case there are some who think that their kids could have done better, let's encourage them in their moment of need and they'll remember your kindness for life. Plan how to move forward in Sec ...

Re: Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary

My guess is 260. PH didn't make it to top 10? None scored >275? Yah, this year PH didn't make it to the scholar list. But I feel that a more accurate gauge of a sch's performance is the mean T-score and % (A*/A), rather than be dependent on a single shiny star. According to the numbers posted earli...

Re: Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary

Congrats Funx3. Speechless means between 255-260? Can share more details about PH's results? This year throws out some major surprises - top kid from Rulang, a non GEP sch, NYPS didn't make it to the scholar's list for the first time, many top scholars from non-GEP schs, and lastly, of the 9 Chinese...

Re: Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary

BTW, what did you mean by P1 to P2 is en bloc? :? I meant that the whole class moves from P1-8 to P2-8. my ds has been there for 4 years and i still feel as blessed as when he first joined. It's always great when we remember to count our blessings, rather than always looking out for the next "bette...

Re: Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary

Ok, now I'm confused. P1 has no higher chinese? Only streaming in P2 for higher chinese? What if the kid is very good with all subjects except for chinese? Go to lower class? Sorry, my mistake. I meant to say that there's subject banding for HCL from P2 onwards. P1 to P2 is en bloc. And ther...
