The results are almost all in for mid year... He managed A1s, albeit lower range scores for Math and Science without tuit...

Re: All About Finding & Evaluating Tutors

Hi May I know is it reasonable for me to expect tutor to cover creative writing in the English tuition? I believe creative writing is quite specialized and not all tutors can teach? Please advise Thanks. Strictly speaking, creative writing in a specific writing style which many would find important...

Re: ECON IN JC

Bumping this old thread up for recommendations on Econs tuition, tutor etc. Thanks in advance. I happen to know this econs tutor who bumped up many results from "S" and "U", to As for A levels. And he gets many students from top schools like RI(JC), HCJC, because naturally its more competitive in t...

Re: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' Secondary

Hello there, I studied in RI (Sec) and went on to RI (JC) via the IP programme. Happened to know a number of friends who did exceptionally well, and they went to this tutor at Thomson.

If you are interested in his contact, let me know!

Re: Networking Group - Hwa Chong JC

Just out of curiousity, if any parents or students are willing to share, which universities are most of the students applying for?

Those considering to go to US, do the school have any department to assist with their application?

Re: tutor thru' word of mouth recommendation for JC1 H2 chem

I went to SMU after A levels, scored S in prelims in H2 Chemistry but A in A levels. Went to this tutor at Novena, whats special is that his notes are very personalized and he wasnt stingy in giving extra time or lessons when needed! Personally recommended.

Drop me a PM if you want his contact.
