but this will result in parents putting their children into those GEP-preparation class...to 'force' their kids to be GEP-ers. can't blame them, its rat race after all.

if u r gifted, you are gifted, why need preparation class?

if the GEP kids in GEP centres are NOT segregated from the rest of the mainstream classes, then why got such labels as GEP and non GEP? for what purpose??

it is NOT necessary at all. why segregate the kids?? even if the child is gifted, he/she need NOT be separate from his/her friends and go to a new sch (which has GEP program). he/she can excel in his/her current school. just have to think of ways to let them. and gifted children need to mingle aroun...

erm, I mean do you donate from your pocket or your boy sold the tickets? we donated the full sum as we did not ask people or relatives to donate.

so you can use any kind of method to solve math problem as long as you know how to use it right? or, certain standard can only use certain method? do the teacher penalise student for using method which he/she has NOT learn before in school? say, this student learn unit transfer at the tuition centre...

and primary what can use which methods? last time, I know if the kid understand algebra, he/she is not allowed to use algebra in primary school, but not sure now. goodness, now maths not easy. :(
