Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

That's great! We save some space for the lugguage bag if we do not have to bring winter coat and other stuff along. Last Dec went to Beijing and all the winter stuff take up one lugguage bag. Glad to know it's not hard to find chinese restuarant in Gold Coast. Thanks for the helpful tips.

Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

Noted with thanks. Is chinese food easily available in Gold Coast? Can't imagine eating western food for 8 days. Will bring more cup noodles there. The weather in June seems not very cold. We just need to bring along a Jacket and not winter coat right?

Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

Thanks for the feedback, Dnls_mum. We probabaly won't be going to tangalooma if we have to stay overnight at the resort. From the youtube, the climbing looks tiring but the sliding down is fun.

Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

Wow, people in Australia are more relaxed, so different from HongKong. I remembered we board a bus in hk before, we have to move quickly from the back of the bus to the front to get down. So worried the driver will drive off without waiting for us. We had 2 free days because we extended one day. I t...

Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

I'm referrring to the public transport. The package tour actually include transport to and fro for our trip but the last two days we are on our own. We are visiting the zoo, so was wondering should we take a cab there. How to get to the Tangalooma? Is the sand toboganning same as the ATV Quad Bike? ...

Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

Hi Buzydad, thanks for your reply. Will probably try the Tangalooma Resort. I wonder how is the public transport over there, is the cab expensive? We are going to the zoo by ourselves. Our agent quoted us $660 for 4 to arrange the transport to zoo and thereafter to watch the crocodile which is far t...

Hi Pojo, thanks for your reply. That's great, my younger boy love animals. Has anyone go for the whale watching, firefly cave and zoo? Any good shopping place to go? Any chinese food there? Thanks for all the questions.

Re: Travel: Australia - Gold Coast

Hi We are travelling in the June holiday with my two teenager boys. We have 3 free days, beside the usual attraction is there any other places we can go? We are going to the usual place like movieworld, crab cruise, harbour town outlet, seaworld theme park, abalone world and winery.
