Re: RI or HCI

It is one person’s experience. One batch has about 1200 students. Can we generalise that everybody has the same experience as her? My son enjoyed his time at RJC.

Re: ME TIME!

After learning that a person can get re-infected after 90 days and covid affects our brain, I prefer not to get covid however mild it is. The 90 days immunity is not worth it.

Re: ME TIME!

You can take away sugar but leave my salt alone :nunchuk: Too much salt is no good for health but gotta also watch that our elderly at home do not over do things. Mum ended up in hospital last time cos she cut down too much on sodium and drank too much water. In the end her electrolytes went out of...

Re: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

I just found out (was it ever reported in ST?) that children under 18 years old who recovered from covid-19 will have a significantly increased risk of developing DIABETES :gloomy: https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20220110/covid-19-may-raise-risk-of-diabetes-in-children If this does not encourage par...

Re: Integrated Programme (IP)

Hi, thanks for reply. DSA commitment is only to the 4 years (his is IP to a JC). No further commitment for the Sports in JC. I read the offer letter also and the commitment to the Sports is to the Secondary School. Students are "expected" to honour their commitment for the 6 year program. Reason I ...

Re: ME TIME!

If you don't like other to give you gifts or you have no space to display their crafts, just tell the people surrounding you. I believe they will understand and not to give you gifts in future. If you don't say, they may not know your true feelings. Sometimes when we tell people not to give us thin...

Re: ME TIME!

There are 1) those who give without expecting returns, 2) those who give AND expect returns, 3) those who receive without returning favors. I'm kind of the 3rd kind. Not because I don't want to return, but actually because I don't know how to return. And many times, I just forget  . Because o...

Re: Properties info

I removed the bath tub when I moved to my current condo. I relocated the shower area to where the bath tub was. The shower area became so much bigger! If your condo is not in the areas where Japanese like to rent, then there is no point of keeping the bath tub. I built cabinet behind the mirror in t...

Re: Cloud storage services

I just installed the free version of pCloud and I am loving it! It is so easy to use. Once installed the desktop application, it is just like having another hard disk drive or USB at my desktop but it is located in the cloud. :dancing: I think I will buy their lifetime plan. I don't like monthly/yea...
