Census 2010,

Postby Donkey Kong » Wed May 05, 2010 2:22 pm

Does your household receive the Census 2010 notice?

Check with all the pple I know, none receive it. Thought this is NATIONAL SURVEY, should involve every household?

How to get accurate results about Singaporeans if they just ask certain household?

Strange? :?

My parents and siblings got the notice - in fact deadline for my parents already passed. I have not seen anything in my letterbox.

More like who stay here, and the individual's educational details. I filled in for my parents - this done via internet. Quite lengthy (lucky not many persons in that household), forgot the details liao.

I helped in the 1990 census exercise. Remembered going to every household around my estate to fill in the forms. Very tedious job- ask qn, record ans, knock from door to door, going inside strangers' flat.

One very interesting elderly man- he taught me how to use the chopsticks.

One very odd family- refused to participate and started scolding the govt upside down.

One scary encounter- a group of bare top Chinese foreign workers.

Hm, memories to take with me 8)
