Will you allow sleepover for your kids?

Postby PlayfulFairy » Fri May 21, 2010 12:31 am

Hi all,

At what age will you allow sleepover for your dd/ds? What are the reasons behind your choice?

It depends on their maturity. Personally, I don’t mind having their friends sleeping over in my home because I can monitor. However, I don’t allow my child to accept any Sleepovers because I don’t know how the host’s habits.

The main reason for me is, not wanting to start something that I can’t put a Stop later. There will be some day when your kid won't even tell you about sleepingover because they are going to sleep over and over without your knowing anyway.

Depends if the host is your relatives or trusted friends. Only you will know.

For me, is a big NO that's because I'm very fussy lor.

If its relatives, very close friends, still OK. If its her classmates or friends, strictly NO. My reason, I don't know their family members well enough, so won't feel comfortable. :D

No if I do not know the kids parents and family habits.

Yes with close friends and of course my family.

I will allow if I know the parents very well (means I know that they are the responsible type that will monitor the kids and will not allow them to do things that I do not approve of).
