I like to go to the furniture shop just across the road from my place to hunt for the furniture that I want.

No need to travel so far...They have a array of beds and sofas to choose from.

I only go to IKEA to get those simple furniture that cost less than $15 eg shoe racks and mini bedside tables.

Me and my wife are into something old but something new.. Hock Siong is one of our favorite, with some of the lowest prices around. Their furniture is sourced from showflats and hotels, mixed with antique finds from individual sellers. It’s bustling with activity, yet the atmosphere is bright, cheery and easy-going. Worth checking!

You can find unique pieces in thrift shops. Great places to go on the hunt are Junkie’s corner at 2 Turf Club Road, thrift shops at Salvation Army outlets and at certain churches.

Have you tried Arete Culture at Tan Boon Liat? Tan Boon Liat building has a number of good furniture shops.

Hipvan, castlery are some of the cheaper options but still nice.
