My husband likes Loakes for Working shoes and Timberland for casual weekends.

I'm wearing ecco and they are comfortable. Not sure if you can find size 44 though.

DH wears Johnston and Murphy, Hush Puppies (but he still prefers the former) for working shoes and Timberland for casual wear.

Johnston and Murphy can be found in Robinsons. Not sure if the brands mentioned have size 44.

My husband has been wearing timberland for decades, but recently he doesn't mind ecco too. Apparently very comfy for both. both shd hv 44.

if you are planning for a gift, please chk with sales if goods can be exchanged or returned, just in case. Shoes are quite personal stuff, like my hubby, he has arched feet and low ankles, other brands have close to zero models to fit him...

Hope this helps!

Hi cookies monster, duriz, ksme, bigdevil, autumnbroze, penglee & angel04,

Thanks to all of you, didn't expect so many helpful pp out there.

My hubby's looking for good quality shoes for working, he stands and walks a lot so the shoes must able to carry his hefty weight around for about 12 hours.

Budget is around $300+-, we think shoes are very important, they support our whole body weight.

:thankyou: [/list]
