5 things you have benefitted from KSP in 2010

Postby schweppes » Tue Dec 14, 2010 5:40 pm

As 2010 is coming to an end, care to share what you and/or your family have benefitted most from KSP? Maybe share the top 5 things that have made a positive impact on your life in 2010?

I know there are probably more than 5 things, but what's your likely top 5?

Here's mine...

1. Discovering the wonders of Manuka Honey (never realised how a simple bottle of honey can get us grown ups all excited)

2. Learning more about kids' school related matters and finding their tutors thru the forum

3. Rekindling my love for creative writing : 3-word story, the Mt Liang story, poetry writing; and eh... discovering a side of me i never knew existed, harlequin writer wannabe notwithstanding   :boogie:

4. Learning to appreciate what I have, my dh and dds; and that we must never take anything for granted. Knowing that I am not alone in bringing up my children or struggling to find a balance to be my own individual and also as a parent and wife. Teaching me to want to be a better parent and wife.

5. Friendships formed, thanks to my KSP kakis. I have many laugh-out-loud moments through the many hilarious and cheeky posts :rotflmao: :rotflmao: ; and some teary moments   reading some of the more painful and heart-warming stories

So, :thankyou: all KSP friends for being part of my life in 2010! It has been a joy and blessing "knowing" all of you.

I wish you and your families a Blessed Christmas and peace, health and happiness in 2011.

:celebrate:

I am addicted to KSP now.
For me, I have benefitted most from KSP regarding P1 registration this year for my daughter...very close to my heart.

Other than that, it would be websites regarding school work.

I've also formed new friends here.

:thankyou:

Hehe, my 5 things:

1. Getting to know Schweppes - not very well as I'm hardly online in KSparents, but enough to benefit from her experience and support in helping my 3E (feels like 5 or 6 E sometimes!) kid.

2. Allows me to see what other parents are going through so I don't feel so bad .

3. Allows me to be humbled when I see how wonderfully other parents are doing, and to learn from them.

4. Duh

5. Blub bub ..

[Will think of something later]

Cheers to Schweppes and all the parents here! :celebrate:

1) P1 Registration (benefitted the most from the other parents)
2) Schools / work
3) In-laws
4) Food
5) Health

It's a relief and great to know we are NORMAL kiasu parents.
