Fitness Centre (Value For $$)

Postby Sniper Angel » Wed Dec 29, 2010 11:20 pm

Hi All,

Just want to check anyone had sign up with any fitness centre like California, Fitness First or True Fitness? How much would be the monthly fee like?

If you have any good experience or recommendation do share? Target looking at maybe $20-$30/mth if possible.

recently my membership with true fitness has expired. they are offering me $55/mth, for 3 years.

i wonder if the membership with sports council or elsewhere is cheaper? Good thing about true is that there are quite a few branches and quite a number of interesting aerobic classes.

I'm still considering, though... cos i don't go to gym that often to make the $55/mth worth leh. that's about $2 a day.

California is about $50 over for 3 yrs package and that's likely one of the cheapest in town liao... But do note it ties you down for 3 yrs, with mthly payment, regardless of whether you go or you don't.

If u look for $20-$30, you should consider CC gym or sport complex gym. Per entry is $2.50 and you can go for 8-12 trip per mth, base on $20-$30. Moreover, you only pay upon usage.

Really depends on your need...

The problem with sports complex gym membership is that there is no limit on the number of members. I signed on for 6 months and then regretted because the gym is very crowded at all times of any day. I gave up after 3 months there.

someone was told me that there was more motivation for him to go to the gym to train regularly since he had paid so much money for the fitness club membership.
