Wah, u r really bored hor...haha...
I haven't been to Chinatown for ages, even though I spent my childhood there...

It's very crowded and has now became a tourist place... :(

Ever since I have kids, I have not stepped into Chinatown to get the CNY goodies. It is always crowded. I rather shop at NTUC now..

I grew up in Chinatown, though shifted out many years ago but still go there almost every weekend to see my granny. Love the festive mood there during cny but hate the crowds.

I grew up there too! Parking at the car parks is my worst nightmare, especially on Chinese New Year's Eve.

I avoid crowds if I want real shopping, too stressful. I dont mind going Chinatown just to experience the new year atmosphere ... if I have time and not too stress lah. My P5 girl just came back from a school trip from Chinatown. She said not crowded leh ... probably still early

i would most likely take leave and go in the afternoon. It's a bit hot then but better than squeezing in the crowds in the evenings :D the new year ambient is great though

i remembered there was one year when i went there early to 'reserve' a place to watch the fireworks. so fun! but now have kid, impossible to do that.

Hi there,

Nah, not yet. How was the temperature like in Chamonix? Below 0 degree?
