Came across this... the observed traits and trends of our young generation are a bit worrying... with the influence of technology/internet.

Guess that will take a long time (: It's the 21st century ,not the 20th and earlier. People have a new way of life, a life dependent on technology. You have to find a way to moderate the usage, not distance the kids from it altogether. Because this is the future of the world - a world of technology. It's not like the 1900s where everything was handwritten, there were no electrical appliances etc...

Think about it. What happens when you suddenly distance yourself from technology?

Another name for this generation is "homo zappiens". One of the important characteristics is the ability to multitask (e.g., listening to music, while chatting online with a friend, while updating Facebook page, while doing homework. Check out the presentation here:
