LATEST:Tokyo hit by 8.9 mag earthquake and 10-m high tsunami

Postby Angelight » Fri Mar 11, 2011 6:15 pm

Though it's not new that Tokyo has been hit by earthquake again, but one that leads to a 10 metre high tsunami is quite shocking. Read that Tokyo Disneyland is also flooded! Can't imagine the number of casualties involved...so sad. :(

First New Zealand, now Japan...just hope they can rebuild their country and their lives again. looks like our family vacation to Tokyo has to be shelved now.

Not to worry - we are surrounded by lands and shallow water or so say the experts I remembered. In theory, our highest tsunami height if have would only be 0.5 mtrs!
