SINGAPORE: The body of a Chinese man was found in Bedok Reservoir on Saturday morning.
Police said they received a call at about 9:15 am.
The body was brought to shore by police.
The man was pronounced dead at about 9:45 am by paramedics.
This is the sixth body found in Bedok Reservoir since June this year.
On October 25, the body of a Chinese woman in her late 50s was found floating in the reservoir.
The latest incident on Saturday came before members of the Inter-Religious Organisation, community leaders and residents gathered at a floating platform nearby for a blessing of the reservoir.
