yesterday Hong Kong, today Taiwan

Taiwanese authorities said on Thursday they had slaughtered nearly 1,000 pigs following the island's worst outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in more than 14 years.

imagine if cows and fish also infected, then Asians will have to go vegetarian

So sad...eating tang yuan is an impt occasion for Chinese...yet there is no chicken and now pigs are infected in Taiwan. Can you imagine if there is mad cow disease as well ? Don't know what else can be eaten.
