it also shows that mobile phone not switched off does not affect the navi equipments of the plane

it only distracts the other "equipment" of the planes like the pilots - who are kayu in this case

Here's a little known fact about the use of mobile phones on airplanes. When you turn on the phone, it looks for a mobile station to connect to.

If the plane is flying over a city, you are likely to pick up ground stations easily, but your phone will be constantly changing stations. If you are on auto-roam and using a data plan, it could be costly for you.

If you are flying over the sea, there are no base stations. But your phone will continue to search for stations by increasing its transmission power hoping to pick up a further station. There is a slight risk that this increased power may interfere with the communications devices used by the plane's navigation systems.

In any case, your phone will run out of battery real fast.

Conclusion? Turn off your phone or set it to flight mode when flying. It's the only chance you can get away from the incessant nagging of your boss, anyways. :)
