KiasuParents Acronyms

Postby ZacK » Fri Jun 05, 2009 1:27 pm

Hiya all,

Wonder if anyone has asked this before... When I first came into this forum I was struggling with lots of abbreviations being used here from DS1, DD1, DW, DH etc... Slowly I figured that it probably meant darling/dearest son 1 (DS1), darling/dearest wife (DW) etc...

Then today decided to pop into the secondary/ite etc folder and found that they have GEP, DSA etc etc etc etc :? :? Obviously I am still struggling

Was wondering if we can start a abbreviations thread where we can consolidate all the abbreviations used so that noobies like me can make sense of the postings in this forum and hopefully learn from or contribute to the thread?

I was thinking if we can categorise into:

1. Commonly used abbreviations
2. Abbreviations by education levels? If there are not that many perhaps can just combine.

Any help is greatly appreciated TIA

Alamak... If you check out my postings all TKSS in the top 3 folders only... I have a phobia of venturing into the folders below these 3 cos I feel kinda lost
