Movies on iPad/iPhone?

Post by jtoh » Mon Aug 20, 2012 10:25 am

Where do you download movies on to your iPad or iPhone from? Aside from iTunes? Is there an app? I know there are some for Korean movies or Chinese movies. Any for English movies or series? Thanks.

What I do on my PC is to subscribe to a VPN service and then subscribe to Netflix. If you have a valid US credit card e.g. certain AMEX credit cards, you can also purchase videos from Amazon Instant Videos. I don't have an Ipad or Iphone, but if I am not wrong you can set VPN and install Netflix on them. Give it a try.

I am using iSafe Pro ($1.28) and iSafePlay (free). Can download from youtube and other websites that has the movies. I know of websites for Korean and HongKong Dramas but interested in US series. Anyone can recommend?

Legally, there are Netflix, Amazon Instant Videos, and HuluPlus. All will require you to connect to a VPN service and a billing address in US (a freight forwarder's address such as VPost or Comgateway's address will suffice). Amazon is more particular and will reject your CC if it is not issued in US.

Is letv free? Legal? I am looking for a legal source, preferably need no regular subscription. Pay per view kind is possible.

I am not very sure about the legality. But if you want to play safe and don't mind streaming videos, try mysoju. This website claims it is legal as it only provides links to video streaming websites like YouTube etc.

Beside movies, what other interesting apps have you downloaded into your ipad or iphone? Care to share?
