To put things into perspective, this is about how much they pay a year for one CEO of one GLC, give or take a million. I leave it to KSP to decide which is better value. But I have no doubt MOD can afford it.

A life is priceless so what's a million compare to it? Give me 10 billion I also not interested to risk my child's life! Birth rate is already so low so every single NS man is very precious to the country too. MOD must do something about this! :stompfeet:

I'm curious. If the person has asthma why is he not deployed as NS clerk? If he still need to undergo training why not exempt from that particular one?

I wonder if the father submitted the medical report about his son's mental condition to CMPB before the appointed physical check-up date.

Does all the hospitals have the ultrasound scanner. If yes and the heart condition doesn't only appear at a certain age, then maybe MINDEF can "mobilize" the machines from the hospitals. Get boys to scan at younger age and can go to any of the hospital for the scanning. If still not enough machines, then MINDEF buy a few but at least not as many of they were to take full load of the scanning.

Good point. Maybe if they scan earlier, fewer young people will collapse and die during school sports or weekend exercise too. Why must wait till enlistment then scan one har?
