SINGAPORE: A student will be charged in court on Tuesday with using a fake identity card to enter an entertainment outlet along Sentosa Gateway.
Police said on Monday that the 17-year-old male student was caught at about 11.30pm on 12 May.
He had allegedly produced a fake IC to the security staff at the entertainment outlet for verification before entry into the nightspot.
The security officers found something amiss with the IC and called the police.
Police investigations revealed that the suspect had allegedly forged the IC and changed his date of birth on it.
Several computer items that were believed to have been used by the suspect to forge the IC were seized from him.
If convicted, the suspect can be fined up to S$10,000 or jailed up to 10 years, or both.
So his next step is to forge fake passport??
What was he thinking??
