Japan Home versus Daiso

Postby karenmok » Sat Oct 20, 2012 1:20 am

I think both these shops stock useful items at affordable prices. But is there really some difference between them? For instance, if u want item X, go to Japan Home; if you want item Y, go to Daiso; if you want item Z, avoid both these shops - and so on?
Many thanks, Karen

One is pricing the items at all $2.

The other has no "fixed" price at $2. So really depends what you are buying.

Daiso carries a wider range of items for a fixed price - $2.

Sengkang's branch Japan Home is just like a high class provision shop - selling alarm clocks, cooking pots/pans, toilet paper and Nescafe coffee. Pricing is comparable to Cold Storage :siao:
