Anybody intending to get this book? ST has a report on this book. (I took a shot of that report: http://i48.tinypic.com/111uq7d.jpg)

PAP has a say in the Straitstimes and almost every adult Singaporean knows that. Then suddenly the former chief editor who was with Straitstimes for more than four decades come out with a book to say he is not associated with the PAP? I wonder how he survived during his tenure

This part i really laugh out loud and choked on my coffee:

Asked how he managed to last 43 years even as other editors were edged out, he replied: patience and optimism.

"I decided that handling this tricky relationship requires enormous patience. But I believe patience will be rewarded".

i'm sure he's rewarded well. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
