Both me n son listed down our prediction .
My expectation was pitched slightly lower than his.
And he met all my expectationsg.
But he only meet two subjects for his own target.
We feel that he could have done better for that two subjects. Math he got one careless mistake and one interpretation mistake on top of question that he does not know how to do, the latter is acceptable to us though and we will try to work on that this holiday. Lower than his dad's expectations, but still good for me as he does not have tuition for it.

I voted "satisfied". This year was our 1st experience as they didn't have any exams in P1.

She missed her maths target by 2% and I showed her where, if she'd read the question properly, she could have hit it. I was a bit annoyed as that plus a question that I have been over with her time & time again was where she lost silly marks.

She exceeded her target in English and did very well in Chinese - with help from tuition and my m-i-l.

My husband is less happy - I think he wanted everything to be 90%+ but he needs to learn to temper his expectations.

I just voted 'Happy. Better than expected.' just like last year. However, this year's happiness is greater than last year's because ds1 did even better than last year and will be getting 2 prizes. ds2 also managed to meet his own stretched targets. All these despite a 3-day staycation in the midst of exams between the paper 1 and paper 2, and ds1 became even more independent, and ds2 showed more resilient. :salute: to them!

For DD, everything as expected. No surprise, no shocker either. Even the mistakes she made also as per expected. Happy that she managed to maintain her grades.

For DS, I had no expectations since he is only in P1. I do know from his latest math review test that we have to drill into him to show his workings. All the answers correct but marks deducted as he did not show his workings.

We had put in extra effort after three terms of slacking n managed to recover some lost ground.
Improvement was great enough to be acknowledged by teachers...that to us, is an achievement.
