Well, I am taking the position that the evidence provided against Dan Tan is not yet enough even to get the fellow detained without trial under the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act, much less stand up in court. Remember that much despised law? It is used against organized crime.

You think what? Mere hearsay is enough to get you extradited to an overseas jurisdiction just because the angmo say so? Have to go to court first before a citizen can be extradited, you know.

Maybe as the foreign authorities present more evidence to our authorities, something may happen over time.
