Something similar happened to my uncle many years ago. He was driving along orchard road towards plaza Sing when he suddenly suffered a stroke. The car spun out of control right in front of the istana. Luckily my auntie was next to him. Instinctively she swerve the car away fr the traffic ( but towards the instana!) then quickly pulled the handbrake. She said all the istana guards ran over and pointed their guns at them :nailbite: but when they realized that my uncle slumped over the wheel they quickly called for ambulance and was escorted to the hospital by the military police motorbike. This was before the era of camera Hp and YouTube, if not I'm sure he will be famous also.
Luckily nobody is hurt in this accident. Dun condemn the driver yet, he might be sick. Let's get the truth 1st

Thanks for pointing out. It's just that from the way the car is being maneuvered it looks like the driver is trying to get out of the scene rather than being out of control.

But you are right. Let's get the facts first and reserve judgement.

Yahoo news said it was a 50yo uncle at the wheel. Most prob he lost consciousness after colliding with the first cab. If he deliberately wanted to get away, he would have reversed then turn and drive away, not bulldoze through like that. Was horrified to see the merc hit the bus next...

I hope this is not the same 50+ uncle who had a heart attack at the wheel and bulldozed through Chong Pang market last year in his merc...

At 9pm.... don't think he would thought that he could run away with a hit-and-run... so, I agree with Dora1 and Cherrygal that something must have happened to him, that caused him to totally lost control of his vehicle.... not intentional.

It's kind of scary, I cross that same road with my son every week. Occasionally when dh or I can't make it , my helper will take him. Need to be alert , must keep reminding my hyper active young man

Think it is only appropriate to change the title of this post to omit the word BAD
