Power of mass influence? when the first one came out, not much crowd. Got progressively more and more until this last one where pp queue starting early night.

When I visited the Garage sales thread this morning, it was filled with posts selling the toy, some selling @ $50

this toy supposed to be sold @ Mac for $4.60 with every EVM. http://mcdgoplay.com/hellokitty/promo-hello-kitty.php

Don't understand what the craze is all about. Recently, I just threw away some 'hello kitty' dolls wearing various costumes given by someone who collected them years ago from Mac.

Now you give me free, I also dun want. Collect dust only.

The Hello Kitty craze in Singapore has resulted in not just long queues, disappointed fans and scalpers, but also a dispute at this particular McDonald's outlet at Bukit Batok Central last night (Jun 26).

For some, it's love for kitty. Some love for fad. And many others, love of money.

I may have wanted to buy the chacoal one, but I rather do without than give in to scalpers.

If they were complete set and in original packaging, you could have sold them for a pretty penny.
