EcoBank - Singapore's national zero-waste campaign - is back for the second year. For this festive season, let's be conscious about what we consume. More importantly, let's reuse and recycle what we have.

Be a zero-waste hero this January by donating your clean and great condition clothes, accessories, toys and books to raise funds for disadvantaged children.

Your donated items will be curated and sold at the EcoBank Bazaar in February, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Children's Charities Association (CCA). Unsold items will go to CCA and the MINDS Thrift Shop to benefit their fundraising efforts.

From January 5 to 26, drop off your preloved items at these collection points:

- City House, Lobby
- Fuji Xerox Tower, Customer service counter level 1
- Central Mall Office, Tower Lobby
- Manulife Centre, Lift lobby level 1
- B1 Quayside Isle Management Office
- Republic Plasa, Outside restaurant Chef Icon, #01-13A
- City Square Mall, Fountain Square

Admission to the EcoBank Bazaar is free. Keep watching this space for updates on the fun activities and exciting performances in store for you and your family at the EcoBank Bazaar 2017!

donation drive -Books, Board Games, Paintings, Old Furniture
Hello, thank you for dropping by :-)
I'm Janell and as some of you may know, I have been working directly with foreign workers doing dormitory management. Anyhow, this idea came up one day as I was walking around the dormitory and I saw that a donated book shelf was approximately 1/4 filled with books from a generous donation by a friend's friend (thank you Esther!!), and I thought it would be nice to actually fill up the book shelves with more books of different languages!

Thus came about my crowd-sourcing idea that is completely non-profit and just in hopes of making the lives of the foreign workers at the dormitory that little bit homelier and more enjoyable :-)

As such, I'm conducting an informal donation drive where I will go around and collect whatever you guys would like to donate for these workers. These items include (but not limited to):
- Books (English, Chinese, Tamil, Thai, Bengali books are preferred!!)
- Board Games
- Paintings (That will be hung around the dorm to brighten the setting!!)
- Old Furniture (In usable condition)
- Mats
- Etccc

Even if you are unable to contribute anything, I would really appreciate it if you share this with your friends!! Not really expecting much but if even one person would contribute a set of books, that in itself would make a difference :-D

THANKS FOR DROPPING BY God bless everyone ~.~

Date: 8 April 2017
Venue: At your house doorstep!
Contact: Feel free to contact me via email at Janell@dwall.com.sg

You can drop them off at Church of Blessed Sacrament at 1 Commonwealth Drive.
They run a thrift shop where the proceeds are used to help the less fortunate.
