How many leaders/top officers put kids in ordinary schools?

Postby jetsetter » Thu Nov 21, 2013 7:54 pm

Quote by Jurong West Sec Sch VP - trending at this point:

"How many of our leaders and top officers who say that every school is a good school put their children in ordinary schools near their home? (Only) until they actually do so are parents going to buy (it)"

She's so candid...Well, most leaders and top officers stay near 'elite schools' anyway, so...hmmm...

I think she is very brave to make that statement.

I feel that "making the comment that every school is a good school" and actually "not putting their kids in those lower tier schools" doesn't contradict.

You see, they can really believe that every school is a good school.. but, given their capability, they are not satisfied with these "good" school despite their belief, but rather, they want the "bestest" school.. nothing wrong mah..

So.. they can continue to say that every school is a good school..

While enrolling their kids only in the bestest school.

They can say every school is a good school, but they never deny that some school are indeed better than the others mah....

She is probably on the phone with the Ed Minister now...

She has forgotten abt Phase 2A. Most leaders/top officers are alumni/alumna of non-ordinary schools; proximity to such schools is immaterial.
