Reading Glasses

Postby angel » Mon Dec 09, 2013 12:34 pm

I remember seeing bookshops selling really nice looking ones but nowadays I could hardly find a decent pair.

I refuse to pay more than a hundred for a pair. All I need is a pair of glasses for reading. I have perfect eyesight.

Anyone has any idea where we can find or get reading glasses, prescribed or ready made ones which we pick off the shelves with a budget of about max $30?

Don't suggest those from Daiso or pasar malam. The plastic is horrible although the frame is ok.

Anyone can help?

If you are planning to use the reading glasses for readings of 10mins or more, I would suggest getting a prescribed reading glasses.

Was at OG Albert this afternoon.

At the Ageing Well section (same level as the Health Supplement), there are reading glasses @ $19.90 that comes with a simple reading chart to gauge the degree required. Quite stylish looking n the frame is well made IMO.
