Inexpensive and Reliable Frame-makers for Photos and Art

Postby autumnbronze » Tue Jan 28, 2014 2:56 pm

Hi!

I would like to have some photo collages framed.

I also have some of my son's art pieces that I want to frame so that I can distribute them as gifts. It would be such a waste to throw them away and I really lack storage space. Just intend to keep some.

Looking at A3/A4 size or maybe even bigger (for photo collages)

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Range from Live. Laugh. Love. are nice.

They have different sizes available.

Range from Ikea aplenty.

Frames with thinner borders are cheaper.

Compared to those with broader ones.

Ikea's boxed range can hold more 3D crafts, lil bb's 1st rompers or booties and such.

I've bought their cheapest range in different colours to hang up in their room. Looks pretty vibrant for kids' rooms if you like colours. A few in a pack in A4 size.

If for living room area and more aesthetically matching with furniture, the mahogany or plain beechwood should be quite the universal colours.

Can also make a giant collage to fix onto a larger than A3 frame as centerpiece if can compile a nice collection from all art works. An architect friend did that for her children's works. It was a definite masterpiece.

Hope this helps.
