Have anybody encounter that your child did not take the school bus home and was missing?

Heard of. Usually the child took the wrong bus, or stayed back to talk to the teacher and missed the bus. The bus driver would have assumed that the child was absent. Or the child has to stay back for classes unexpectedly and could not access a phone to inform parents before the extra class start.

It's not that uncommon.

my son missed the school bus last week cos he said the teacher dismissed him late... so the bus driver assumed that he was absent and left without him...

paid $150 for 2 trips... 1 trip is $130. he only takes the school bus to school in the morning daily... back from school, he only takes the school bus once a week. super not worth it. but what to do...

these days... primary school students stay back so often. unlike our times... go home straight after school!

Single trips via school bus are definitely not worth the money. It is the same in all schools. I gripe all the time about it too

Maybe start a 'car pool' system with the other Moms? :)

The challenge would be on finding the right parents within your vicinity

I have a nephew whom the teacher complains about him to the parents often - he will always dash off after school no matter what the teacher says - because he doesn't want to miss the school bus. Teacher bo bian,
