I'm not Muslim either, but I love Hari Raya because of all the cakes and goodies I get from my Muslim neighbours :)

I wish our Muslim friends a bountiful year ahead...it's great to have a holiday so that my kids can finish all their homework.

Selamat hari raya !

I feel that hari raya has much more festive and heartwarming atmosphere than Chinese New Year .
Every hari raya , I never fail to see our Muslim friends wearing the same colored clothes with their family and have so much sense of family bonding :)
While most of us Chinese just wear anything we want and just go for Chinese New Year visiting .

the whole family is so united in wearing ONE colour....either blue or orange...not like us Chinese...some wear black :faint:
