Parents' Day Celebration?

Postby Kidsprodigy » Thu May 07, 2015 3:56 pm

My son's school is celebrating Parents' Day Celebration this year instead of Mother's day and Father's day. Good that both parents can come together and bond with the kid. But will celebrating Mother's day and Father's day separately seems more special to the mummy and daddy?

Father's Day is in June during the school holidays, so I guess that's why the school celebrates both together.

Definitely a day to remember our parents. i think learn to appreciate them more today. Esp after having my own kids.

Speaking of which, what about our own parents? For those of us who is fortunate enough to still have parents to fawn over, Mothers' Day or Parents' Day would be a great time to show our parents that we care for them. What are your plans this weekend?

I am more looking forward to the little hand made gifts from my boy rather than the celebration. Really melt my heart no matter how small the gift is as long as it's made by him. So what are the special gifts that you have received from your kids?

Happy Mothers' Day for all mothers out there! May your children shower you with their love and appreciation for all that you have done for them, unconditionally and without reserve. Have a wonderful day!
