I was feeling so happy shopping at the many shops in imm today until I walked into popular bookshop.

Just standing at the entrance already gave me a headache and unnecessary stress. :stupid:

Shelves and tables full of assessment books are displayed just at the entrance, left and righ side :slapshead: nothing but assessment books :faint:

To destress, I am signing up for knitting class :dancing:

I don't go to popular unless absolutely necessary...daughter going to p6, so no need to buy assessment books. son has no time for assessment.

My latest. Japanese sashiko embroidery. Basic running stitch built on the concept of symmetry. Great fun but needs patience and perseverance.

So pretty!
How did you keep the lines so straight? Did you have to mark the fabric first?

So far I only tried cross-stitch.. much simpler hee.

By hand. Still trying to improve on the stitches.

Even if I hog TV, it gets hijacked eventually ... :yikes:

I use a tailor pencil, pink in this case. Can get this at any sewing supplies shop. The markings are not that strong to start with and will fade off eventually.
