The probability of accidents is proportional to the volume of traffic. It is likely that more people are flying these days. Also, we cannot yet rule out the possibility of a terrorist bomb placed onboard.

Egypt's President said ISIS claimed it drowned the plane was propaganda. Neither was it due to technical fault or human error. Hope the cause can be established in time to come.
