That's why I don't geo-tag my photos or use digital cams' GPS function.

Once, I "checked in" McDonald's East Coast Park with some burger photos, and lo & behold, I got a phone call minutes later from my guy friend. He was just round the corner at a bike shop! So scary...
Stalking

You sure your phone has not been preloaded with tracking app?
it's just FB status update.

It happened to me in Korea once too. I hash-tagged #myeongdong then my gf WA me to say she's there too...freaky

Anyway OT...it's not related to satellite tracking...

I think it's good for the police/ counter terrorist unit, as they can call out the records and track down alleged terrorists, kidnappers and fugitives, like where the Kovan murderer ditched the car ;) The courts can subpoena the data to prove someone had driven to the crime scene, if theres no alibi.

Just dun call out the data to prove your employees had been gallivanting during office hour la!

Yes Jetsetter. There is good and bad points abt having such system. Isn't that 1st in the world to have that? But I still don't feel good abt being tracked.

They probable already done the matrix of which 50m of which road at which hour / minute will be priced how much, loaded into their program liao. And probably bus lane infringement also load into the system for auto tracking. Understand the satellite can tell you in clarity your car number plate and on which lane you are on. Try running the red light.

Cash card belongs to you so it's your properties. IU -- only when u enters into carpark with erp system then your IU will be tracked. And if you go to a venue where carpark coupon is used, you won't be tracked.

So there will still be some privacy.

Ksp, agreed. That's the only advantage I see in this system, including the speed you are travelling at the point of accident. Can't tell a lie as you are tracked technologically.
