I said in terms of 'entertainment', not political leaning. Bernie isn't as entertaining as Trump + CSJ. Such a dull chap Bernie is, regardless of the crowd he pulled (and still lost the NY primary anyway). Getting ready my popcorn.floppy wrote:Trump is far right so CSJ is more like Bernie lah. They even have the same democratic socialist leaning, same progressive leaning. I could even hear echoes of their platform - free college education, healthcare for all, cut defence spending, pro-LGBT, etc. If CSJ can draw the same amount of people to his rally as Bernie does (I doubt it), he may still have a chance.jetsetter wrote:

As a matter of fact, I don't trust and don't like CSJ still, but I think it's a small sacrifice to appease him with BB village than to see him come back to slay VB and SA in BTH. That's 4 seats vs 1 backbench. Will CSJ return to BTH or stay put to contest in BB, if he fails this time?
GRC is a team sport and you need a team to win. CSJ cannot win BTH because he doesn't know how to organise one. He doesn't come across as a team player and the closest SDP come to was the 2011 GE, which ironically did not include CSJ.
U r right about the 2011 GE. CSJ made a mistake by not fielding Tambyah this BE. Period.
