In choosing or buying a violin, you need to consult your music teacher first. She or he knows what kind of violin is suitid for you.

When you plan to buy a violin, you should consider what you want to play. Also the quality and the price.

My child’s violin strings have turned rusty during this circuit breaker. Worried they will snap soon.

Since all violin shops are closed during circuit breaker, how to have the strings replaced?

Are there any shops that offer sale + servicing via online means during this time?

Try to email Synwin or gramercy. U can purchase their strings online. If it's just changing strings, not difficult.

My son’s violin D string snapped few days ago and I purchased a new set from Lazada. Hoping to receive next few days and he’ll have to change the strings himself. Unfortunately, the violin finger board also dropped, so he scotch-taped it back for now so he can continue playing.

I know you can order strings online from http://www.synwin.com.sg/

and for Gramercy - this is what it says on their Facebook:
"If you have any inquiries during this lockdown, please kindly email us at info@gramercy.com.sg and our team will get back to you as soon as we can!"
