My 2 boys (N2 & K2) attend Lorna Whiston @ United Square since Jan'09.
My opinion so far so good. No commend.

My boy, who's K2, is in LW for 2 terms before I withdrew him with no regrets :D The K2 EL enrichment is covering just the basic which is being taught in his kindergarten as well. During his first term, the teacher was constantly not around and her marking was flawed. For the amt of $$ that I am paying, I think they did not deliver - so what if they have native speaker? That does not mean that they are committed to their work. Thank god the teacher was terminated by the end of T2 b(not sure if anyone else besides myself gave feedback to the centre).

For T3, the Trc was present weekly h/w the content of the prog does not stretch my boy beyond what he knows in school.

Still looking around for good enrichment for him.

Hi,

I saw the advert in one of the parents magazine.
THey have this short courses for parents.
Anyone attended? Beneficial for us?
Frankly, i have zero knowledge on phonics since we were not taught during our school days.

Any feedback on the P1 english at LW United Square? I thought of stopping my gal at ICR and switch over to LW for english enrichment which covers grammar and creative writing. Can anyone share your feedback?
