Really enjoyed the concert "Alice In Wonderland" last weekend. Kudos to all the performers, teachers and parents! Started this thread for mummies whose daughters go to TSOD to share comments, feedback and experiences.

With them for many years, passions dropping, very commercialized, not willing to help kids prepared dsa audition, very strong favoritism towards better dancers, (note this is just my personal experience with them over the years, others parents may have good experience there)

I think the school gives lots of exposure to kids who likes performing which helps to build up confidence as well as build a good portfolio for DSA. Many of their dance girls get into SOTA or other mainstream schools through auditions. It will be a good dance school to send your girl to if she has the passion and enjoys performing. Its important to appear that you enjoy performing and is passionate about dance during auditions as good dance skills / good exam grades do not guarantee success in DSA auditions.

They have jazz lessons under cstd. Usually the students do jazz and ballet together.
