Dear parents,

We are the 1st center in Singapore to have Da Vinci Programme to nurture creativity & imagination among young children.
We have art-enriching activities such as painting, drawing and hand-made crafting, can stimulate the minds of young children to be innovative and creative.

Before, parents and education authorities focused more on improving left-brain thinking, which governs logic, analysis and spatial reasoning. In this day of age, they are now identifying, growing and heightening right-brain thinking, which governs creativity and emotion. Especially during drawing, children can now apply their inventiveness confidently with their unusual mindset; while learning new things bravely.

They will be much more focused while scribbling to improve their imagination. Art expands the concept of creativity and innovation by cultivating kids to be more open to constructive feedbacks and comments. As children go about their daily lives with art, creativity comes forward to assist them to overcome problems and also bring excitement and new experiences in their lives.

Further research also shows that art can help children develop literacy skills such as reading, writing, speaking and listening. It encourages divergent thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling young children to think creatively. Well-designed and well-executed art programmes lead to overall academic performance, build skills necessary for school activities and have a positive influence on the lives of children.

So with this in mind, THE ONE ACADEMY (most successful art school in Asia) created

Da Vinci Creative Kids offers creative art & craft programmes for children from 4 years old onwards, has a structured syllabus for its students to fully utilize their creativity and encourages imagination. These programmes provide a platform for the young students to exercise their right brain besides left-brain training in school academics.

Starting with Little Da Vinci Creative Programme for children age 4 & 5 years old, the programme has undergone thorough research and development with the objective of teaching young children not only to create great artworks but also to develop self-confidence and creative problem-solving skills in their daily lives.

This Programme uses a series of creativity-empowering components through its Eye∙Mind∙Hand Integrated Development. This approach includes Flash Animation Visual Learning to improve mental capacity and art principles, Integrated ‘Learn & Apply’ Workbooks to guide children to draw and colour using the Da Vinci method, Craft Activities to enhance observation, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination and Creative Play Time to create better physical development.

Besides the Little Da Vinci programme, Da Vinci Creative Kids also offers the Junior Da Vinci Creative Kids Art programme.

Junior Da Vinci is designed to encourage imagination in children through drawing and art techniques. One of the significant principles deployed by Da Vinci programme is Holistic Personal Development in which students receive total development in terms of cognitive, physical, emotional, social and artistic aspects through the art lessons of varied broadness and depth which include technical and knowledge-based information.

The syllabus trains children to observe their environment and use their imagination and creativity to complete their artwork at the same time provides them the flexibility to explore their own ideas. The nature of programme and classroom culture encourages them to be brave in applying new ideas through art lessons. This will shape the problem solving and decision making skills of children and help the children to be innovative individuals who have visions to be successful in the future.

Currently, Da Vinci Creative Kids has 36 centres in Asia. Now parents in Singapore will also be able to send their children to attend Da Vinci Creative Kids Art programmes.

Dear Daddy,

Each art school aim is the same to develop children creativity. But our styles and method definitely different from Global Arts.

Our programmes is the first to use flash animation in South East Asia, this is to train children's observation skills. And our programmes focus on training children to develop their creativity and imagination not only through art but also crafts work.
We require the students to draw by recognising forms and shapes so that they will be able to draw anything later on by recognising the forms and shapes. Also we only provide a step-by-step guide for the students to follow to draw the main object of each lesson. The students are required to fill up the whole piece of art block by using their imagination and creativity. We encourage the students to be observant to their surroundings or to the books and tv shows that they read and see so that they can draw out what they imagined.
Our teachers will guide the students to encourage them to use their creativity and our teachers will also teach the students on the drawing and colouring techniques. But how the students want to complete their artworks is up to their creativity. All these will help the students to develop their problem-solving skills by using creativity.

To know more you can come down at our center and we would show you sample of our programme books. =)

Hope this help and thank you,
