Hi,

Anyone knows where I can get non-toxic paint for kids either for face painting or arts and craft?

I use Crayola. There's this plant based paint too that I saw on an online shop but expensive. Here's the link http://jamandmuffin.com/our-shop/detail ... t?sef=hcfp

SAHM_Tan thanks for your recommendation.

Went to Artfriend at Bras Basah Complex and they have many choices of paint for children. I got the big tubes of crayola and my girl is now having a great time with the paints.

Non-toxic crayons?

Postby shinri » Fri May 18, 2012 2:17 pm

DD about 18 months now, thinking to let her draw sometimes to help simulate some creativity..
Where to get those non-toxic crayons that are safe even when child put inside mouth?
Nowadays she likes to put some stuff inside her mouth..

I let my kids use crayola but doubt can put into mouth though it state that it's non-toxic.

I came across one product that's made from food-based and that it's even ok to put in the mouth. But very expensive and limited colours. My opinion is that even if it is made from food-base eeeerrrrr I wouldn't let my kids put it in ther mouth.

I think at this age still best to supervise closely.

There's this beeswax crayons, but I'm not too sure about the name though...
My daughter is 15 months. I just bought her Crayola. I tape a piece of paper down to her high chair tray and let her color in front of me. I think all babies have taken a bit or two of crayons. My daughter has, but she spits it back out into my hand.

Nope. Popular does not carry crayola. I buy from MPH and Spotlight. I'm
sure there are other places that sell it but I usually buy from these 2 places. cheers

Toys r us also has Crayola.

At 18 mths, best to supervise because the child may break the crayon into smaller pieces and put a small piece into mouth. Can be a choking hazard.
