My girl for some strange reason, likes to play badminton. However, school don't have badminton as eca. Next best thing was to let her join ping pong.

Anyone kids playing ping pong too? good sport or no?

If she is in a Chinese edu school (or SAP school as they are known these days), there will be badminton and ping pong galore. My son's school start them young, from primary 1. Extra lessons in badminton after school.

Give her another few months... it means u will be a few months older. Old people like us cannot see the ball well... and reaction slower. So what if you screw ball king, if you cannot see the blur of the ball? There's a reason why they don't offer ping pong at the old folks home :).

Just bought her a first ping pong bat....goodness, the old time favourite "butterfly" brand...was a staggering $30+ per piece for just a piece of wood.

Of cos, I didn't get that...chose a cheaper $10 piece :)...

Aren't you afraid when she grow up and couldn't make it to the national finals, she might come to say it's because her daddy wanted to save a measley 20 bucks for a better bat? Heheh... :D

All about table tennis (Ping pong)?

Postby ctct61t » Sun May 16, 2010 10:52 am

My girl like to play table tennis, she always play ping pong at home by herself.

I can not find a place nearby to let her practise table tennis, thus I want to buy a table to let her play at home. But I don't know where I can buy the table tennis table, and how much is the cost...Any parents can help me.

By the way, I want to know which primary school offer Ping pong CCA? Kiasu parents can give me a hint?

Thanks a lot....

PLMGS (P)

Alot of girls in table tennis usually get admissions in to good sec schs through DSA (table tennis).
