Singapore Sports School - Swimming Lessons

Post by bbc » Mon Nov 01, 2010 12:47 pm

hi,
Does anyone know the name of the school that conducts swimming classes at the Singapore Sports School? I would like to know about their swimming programmes for pre-school kids. Thanks.

MOst of the coaches there r good ( china/myanmar/Msia/spore ) & I happen to be one of them whose teaches there on part time basis from mon, wed & fri night only.
The Clubs that run in the SSS is call SpeediSwim Aquatic Sports Club.
The water is very cold becos its indoor + its all deep water but the coach will take care of that.
As this is a run as a pte club the Programme is different from the spore sport council SwimSafer program and to complete the course it will take 4-5yrs depending on your kids.

As there are office Admin Staffs there is a Reg fee is $50.
regards

My girl swims attends lessons with Speediswim.

So far, her progress is good. There is a test every 3 months to assess the child's progress and once the child is ready, the coach of the next level will administer the test and viola! haha cleared to go on to the next stage.

:)
I recognize you, Coach after I saw your avatar.

I see.. My girl will be moving on to SS3 should she pass this week. I think it should not be a problem.

May I know what stage is considered "higher" level? I mean, you mentioned that it's once every 6 months for the test. Which stage does this start?

Sorry, ask so many questions.
