The Singapore Badminton School conducts lessons at Nan Hua Primary School, I believe. You may like to enquire with them.

Anyone keen to bring their kids for practice session? Basically, during the session they will play matches against other kids of similar level. We are doing this weekly at JuYing Sec Sch every Sat at 4-6pm.

Age : 8-13yrs old

Level : School team or has regular coaching
Format : Singles, 11 or 21pts each match
Fee : S$5 per session (Shuttlecock included)

Can contact me at 96828418 for more detail or arrangement. Our facebook group page(https://www.facebook.com/groups/sgkidsbadminton/).

super-mom wrote:Hi all,

I'm looking for a badminton racket for my boy, beginner age 7, 130cm. Can anyone recommend the suitable brand/model? Should he use a child or regular adult size racket? I guess it should be lightweight for a beginner?

Thanks a lot!
The child should preferably use a junior racquet. Listening or following to some poor advice given which is to use an adult racquet for a child may result in tennis elbow n prolong pain to the child.

Throwing your child into the deep pool even with a proper set of swimming gears will have the child drown in no time. Take the progress stairs if you take sports seriously and correct development for your child.

Besides, these junior racquets are not designed only to make sales. Professional brand racquets are designed specifically for the juniors.

Schools these days are driven to save as much cost possible. Buying in bulk of these "lighter" racquets for the so called use for the juniors are a norm.

I recommend Ashaway racquets from USA. They produce excellent superior durability junior racquets. Very popular junior racquet in the USA and UK too.

Hope it helps.

Hello guys, I also love badminton and i think i am addicted with it because of the joy that i can get in playing but one issue i always concerned about is did my online bought items are authentic and legit?

I found a video online on how to check the authenticity have you also tried it?
