Ikea one can topple ? I just bought one yesterday. So far quite like it, cos there is friction on top and bottom. But of course, I'm always there when DD uses it to wash hands / brush teeth

I have been using Ikea stool for sometime. No issue with slipping.

Not sure how tall your child is, I used one from Mothercare - it's a 2 piece: one is a blue coloured plastic step and there is an attachment that can 'transform' into a seat with buckles.

I've also been using the step stools from ikea. Have the really low ones and the higher ones. They come with antislip bottoms and there are also round antislip flat studs on the seat as well. They don't topple easily.

Yes, I bought the one Blurbee posted at $9.90. There is a lower version at $3.90.

Haha. Yah was trying to find some pics to post. I have the same one that blurbee posted here, the kids use that to reach the sink and the lower ones, well at one time, DS use it in order to pee in the toilet bowl.

thanks to all.
i hv the ikea low stool. its good in that it doesnt slip at the bottom and on the surface.. but its light. so if my naughty kid tip toes on it, i scared it will topple forward

So far no problem cos the base of the stool is broader then the top so not easy to topple.

But if your kid still need to tip toe and stretch to reach to tap then in that case, the stool is not high enough for him.

When DS was much younger, in order to reach the tap on the sink, I have 2 step stools for him. Lower step stool to get onto the higher step stool in order to reach the tap. Haha. Even then, I do not allow him in the toilet unsupervised.
