My timing above include breakfast break at Mersing. Yeah, if you chiong, you can do it in 4 hours. Mersing road got twist and turn? Not really....mainly straight. But hilly though.

Btw...the mersing stretch, you shouldn't go at 120-140...very dangerous. You probably do alot of overtaking as it is a single lane most of the time. It not expressway you knoe....

Thanks for the wonderful advise. If we use the segamat, any makan area along the route 2 to kuantan? Check the google earth, seem like there isn't any place for us to stop and rest.

I don't recommend you to use the Segamat route....it is roundabout..and furthermore, you need to pay toll.

eh...route 3 meaning up the mersing road? Stop at mersing loh. As for good food, I dunno. Anything I see, I eat. when you reach kuantan, can try the 24 hr Mac at the Chempedak beach....nice scenic place. (the stones there like chempedak)
