If you like reading it then it is.

Overall, I like it - it is a complete magazine, a little bit of many things about various aspects of life.

Language is good.

But bottom line is you should enjoy reading it, otherwise it is a chore...

I always thought that RD is more for students and Times/Newsweek more for mature audience? No offence, but RD is too goody-two-shoes to me.

if don't remember wrongly, it was like less than $40 for 12 issues

stopped for a year now, collected about 4 years, still take it out to read sometimes, eg when in the throne room

I like it too.
Been an avid reader since my school days.
Fits nicely into lady's handbag as well.
And not full of junk ads.
